President William Ruto on Tuesday, 16th January 2024, officially opened the Tinderet Integrated Technical and Trainers College in Tinderet Constituency, Nandi County.
The President stated that the government's renewed support for technical training will ensure youths are equipped with industry-specific skills and competence. He emphasized that this move will accelerate the attainment of 'The Plan' and drive the country's overall economic growth.
The commissioning of the college marks a significant milestone for the people of Tinderet and the wider Nandi County, providing a state-of-the-art facility for vocational training and technical excellence. During the event, the President toured the new workshops and labs, interacting with the first cohort of trainees who are set to benefit from the modern equipment and competency-based curriculum.
